Vintage Stanley woodworking plane part diagram "anatomy of a plane" tool guide
1. Brass tote handle screw. This is a two piece screw the top is brass the rest is metal.
2. Tote handle. This is the back handle of the plane.
3. Short tote handle screw.
4. Plane base this is also sometimes called the body, carriage or deck.
5. Frog screw
6.The frog this is show with the knob connected.
7.This slotted screw holds the iron cap and blade together.

11. two hold down screws for frog.
12.Two piece brass and metal screw for front knob.
